Law Jam 2011

I like to play rock n' roll when I'm not practicing law.  Our band, Bellwether Station, had a great time last weekend playing in Law Jam 2011.  There were 8 talented bands.  We played hard and got the "W," but all the bands were talented and worthy of winning the coveted "Best Band Award."  Catch us July 30th on the roof of the Strand Theater in Marietta!

Two in Blue Injured in Separate Motorcycle Wrecks

Two City of Atlanta police officers were injured Tuesday night when they were involved in motorcycle collisions while in the line of duty.  The first wreck occurred when the officer collided with a silver SUV that turned in front of him.  He was traveling to Philips Arena to direct traffic when the collision occurrred.  The officer was ejected from his motorcycle and broke his leg.  The second officer was struck by a minivan while responding to the first officer's wreck.  Luckily, the second officer did not suffer any broken bones.

Clearly, both officers each have a cause of action against the at-fault party who caused each collision.  It appears that they may both have workers' compensation claims as well.  Attorney Bobby Johnson has experience handling personal injury claims, workers' compensation claims and cases where both claims arise.  Call him today if you have been injured on the job or in a car wreck.

Nothing Good Happens After Midnight: Argument in Car Leads to Serious Collision

Four people were injured in a car wreck in the early hours of Sunday morning because of an argument.  Around 4:00 a.m. on February, 21, 2011, a female driver and her male passenger were engaged in an argument while traveling northbound on Cobb Parkway.  The driver stopped the vehicle in the road causing another vehicle to strike it from behind.  All four folks involved in the collision went to the hospital.  Charges are pending.

It is never good to argue while driving, especially late at night.  As mama always said, "nothing good ever happens after midnight."  A car wreck like this causes serious questions regarding liability.  There is also the issue of who has insurance coverage and what insurance is going to cover the property damage and injuries of each individual involved.  Attorney Bobby Johnson has extensive experience untangling liability issues in cases like this one.  Call him if you have questions about an auto accident. At Pizza Law Offices we know how to win the argument with insurance companies and we won't cause an accident in the process.

Tractor Trailer Crash Critically Injures Infant

A tractor trailer caused a collision on I-75 southbond in Cobb County, Georgia on Saturday, February 12, 2011.  The wreck occurred around 10:00 p.m. at the Windy Hill Road exit.  The tractor trailer driver did not brake and struck three vehicles on the interstate.  An infant passenger sustained critical injuries as a result of the collision.  Four adults also suffered visible injuries in the collision.

Tractor trailer collisions often cause serious injuries and even wrongful death.  Trucking cases are different from most automobile accident cases because the trucking industry is governed by a multitude of regulations.  It is important to consult with an attorney who has experience with trucking laws.  Contact Bobby Johnson and the attorneys at Pizza Law Offices if you have a question about a tractor trailer accident case.

Four Vehicle Wreck on GA 400 Seriously Injures 3 People

Three people were hospitalized on the evening of Thursday, February 10, 2011, after four vehicles were involved in a collision on Ga. 400 northbound in Forsyth County.  One vehicle overturned in the collision.  Three people were flown to Northside Hospital-Forsyth because of their injuries.

Georgia's roadways are always crowded and can be dangerous during rush hour periods.  Accidents occur every day on busy roads like Ga. 400.  Accidents can be caused by negligent drivers, intoxicated drivers or sometimes they happen through the fault of no one.

Injured parties deserve just compensation for their injuries, lost wages and pain and suffering.  Attorney Bobby Johnson and Pizza Law Offices are committed to representing auto accident victims and seeking justice on their behalf.  The attorneys of Pizza Law Offices offer extensive experience in handling auto accident cases.
